HZK 53000 U-Bearings are bearings with self-aligning seat washers that can be used with self-aligning seat washers to compensate for angular misalignment between the support surface in the housing and the shaft. Depending on the bearing series, spherical seat washers have the basic designation U 2, U 3 or U 4, plus two digits indicating the size (eg spherical seat washer U 320 for bearing 53320).
Thrust ball bearing series include: 51000 series, 52000 series, 53000 series, 53000U series, 54000 series, and 54000U series.
HZK thrust ball bearings are available in two types: single-direction and double-direction. Single-direction thrust ball bearings consist of two rings (a shaft washer and a bearing seat washer) and a cage containing the balls. Double-direction thrust ball bearings consist of three rings and two cages containing the balls. In double-direction types, the shaft washer is sandwiched between two cages containing the balls.
