HZK Angular Contact Ball Bearings primarily support large, unidirectional axial loads. The larger the contact angle, the greater the load capacity. Cage materials include steel, brass, or engineering plastics, and molding methods include stamping or turning, depending on the bearing type and operating conditions. Other bearings include combined angular contact ball bearings, double-row angular contact ball bearings, and four-point contact ball bearings.
Because the raceways of the inner and outer rings of angular contact ball bearings can move relative to each other about the horizontal axis, they can simultaneously withstand radial and axial loads—a combined load. (Single-row angular contact ball bearings can only withstand unidirectional axial loads and are therefore typically installed in pairs.) The materials of the cage include brass, synthetic resin, etc., which are differentiated according to the bearing type and usage conditions.
