Cylindrical Roller Bearings are bearing in which cylinders are used as the rolling elements as opposed to balls in ball bearings. As such, the rollers have a greater (linear) contact area with the outer ring and are distribute loads across a broader surface. Subsequently, they have a relatively high radial load capacity and are suitable for high speeds. Double-row cylindrical roller bearings have high radial rigidity and are used primarily for precision machine tools.

HZK Cylindrical roller bearings are available in a wide range of designs, series, variants and sizes. The main design differences are the number of roller rows and the inner/outer ring flanges as well as cage designs and materials.
Cylindrical roller bearings are available in the double-row NN series, NNU series, and four-row cylindrical roller bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings typically use stamped steel cages, while larger bearings or those designed for high-speed rotation use machined brass cages. Double- and four-row cylindrical roller bearings use latch cages to extend bearing life.
