Insert ball bearings with set screws are available in the UC200 series, UC300 series, and their variant, the UB(SB)200 series. If the application environment is less suitable, the UC200 series is generally selected; otherwise, the UC300 series is preferred. Insert ball bearings typically have two set screws, angled 120° apart. Their characteristic is that they use the set screws to secure the shaft when mating. However, the mating environment requires minimal vibration. This type of insert ball bearing is quite common and is widely used in various manufacturing industries, including textile machinery and ceramic machinery.

They are available in a variety of materials, mounting configurations, and various bearing features. These bearings are also designed to be self-aligning, easy to install, and feature a dual-structure seal, allowing them to operate in harsh environments. Bearing seats are typically cast. Commonly used seats include vertical seats (P), square seats (F), boss square seats (FS), boss round seats (FC), diamond seats (FL), annular seats (C), and slider seats (T).
